This video demonstrates the key features of Sony’s LinkBuds Open Wireless headphones. 

The video opens with a young man closing a door as he leave his home. Close-up shots, with the “LinkBuds Open” logo on the lower part of the screen, show him removing the LinkBuds Open earbuds from their charging case, putting them in his ears, then double taping near his ear. We hear two notification chimes before music starts playing

The music plays as he walks down the street. A caption on screen reads “Open Ring Design, Stay connected to your surrounding” as he walks, and when a friend runs past him and says hello, he notices and returns the greeting, while he continues to listen to his music. Another friend greets him from across the screen and he again hears her and waves back as the camera transitions through the ‘O’ in the name of a café. The shot passes through the café window and we track the man, still wearing his LinkBuds Open, as he warmly greets other friends. A point-of-view shot looks up at him from inside his drinking cup as he drinks loudly from a straw. 

The circular ring of the cup gradually widens to transition to the open ring of a LinkBuds Open earbud floating with its pair on a lightly-clouded sky background. A caption reads “Designed for Comfort, with Air Fitting Supporters for LinkBuds Open”. The earbuds then appear to be blown by a gentle breeze to another part of the sky, with the caption “Small and Light, for a more stable fit”. The earbuds drop out of the bottom of the frame and a marbled case drops in from the top, with the caption “An Iconic Case Design”. Panning back to the earbuds, the silicon fitting supports cycle through a range of customizable colours under the caption “Colours to Suit Your Style”.

The earbuds spin and the shot transitions to an office, where the man swivels on his chair to face a PC screen. A colleague calls out to him from behind, and he turns to acknowledge them while still listening to the music on his LinkBuds Open. A caption reads “Ambient Sound, Live in the moment with ambient sound” as the shot cuts to him working collaboratively with two excited colleagues, again still wearing the earbuds. 

The man stands up and says to his colleagues ‘Yo, what do you want to eat, I’m so hungry’ then we cut back to him walking down the street with the caption “Authentic, high-fidelity sound”. He arrives back at his living room and returns his LinkBuds Open earbuds to their charging case. With a chime, the music automatically switches to playing back on a LinkBuds Speaker placed on a coffee table as the man sits on the sofa and continues to enjoy the music, with the caption “Auto Switch, Seamless connection with LinkBuds Speaker”. 

The shot cuts to a young female meeting her friends at an outdoor café. She chats casually to them while wearing LinkBuds Open earbuds and working on a laptop computer. The sound of a phone ringing is heard, as we see her phone screen light up. A caption reads “Multipoint Connection for smooth switching” as she answers the call without touching the phone screen. A wide shot of her talking on the call, with her hands free to gesture, accompanies the caption “High Quality Calls with noise reduction”. A close-up then shows her tapping twice near her ear to restart the music as she leaves the café, and a caption reads “Quick Access to your music”. As she walks away she says ‘Turn up volume’ under the caption “Voice Control for easy operation”. 

The shot transitions to a nighttime scene, with the girl and her friends walking and happily chatting. The girl offers her friend a bite of a donut and the camera zooms in tight on the donut as it is presented and her friend opens her mouth. The circular hole in the donut transitions to the LinkBuds earbuds floating on the sky backdrop again, with a caption “Water Resistant with an IPX4 rating” as water droplets float around the earbuds. They spin and darken, then gradually lighten as though lit by a rising sun with the caption “Powerful Battery 8hr / Up to 22hr with charging case”. The earbuds float back into their charging case under the caption “Quick Charge 3min=60min”. Cutting to a different part of the sky, particles of white material appear, flying together to form the earphone charging case, with the caption “Made with Recycled Plastics”, then the earphones explode out of their case as we transition back to a montages of scenes from the video under the caption “Keep every world on”. Finally, a black and white animated ‘For The MUSIC’ logo is followed by the LinkBuds Open logo with earbuds floating above it, in both the black and white colour variations on a light background, then the animated Sony logo.
